Summary of Position:

Erbi is a growth-stage startup with a mission to streamline cell culture with products that simplify bio-pharma and cell therapy process development and manufacture.  We are looking for talented, diligent, growth-oriented technicians to help progress our core technology in the Research group.  This is the perfect opportunity for passionate makers or builders to deploy their skills to help lay the foundation for our future products. 

Role and Responsibilities 

Research technicians play an integral role on our iteration teams by fabricating prototypes and executing test plans.  They are responsible for improving fabrication processes, learning new fabrication techniques, and deepening their skills.  

Key areas of responsibilities include:  

• CNC machining, 3D printing, laser cutting, thermoforming
• PCB fabrication and test
• Maintaining equipment
• Device fabrication and test
• Test setup fabrication, data acquisition

Qualifications and Education Requirements 

• Good mechanical intuition
• Familiarity with fabrication methods, expertise in at least one.
• Ability and desire to learn new skills
• Programming skills, especially Python and Matlab a plus
• Familiarity with G-code a plus
• Solidworks a plus.
