Director of East Coast Sales

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Be responsible for all new business development activity to achieve annual sales targets for Bioprocessing
and Cell Therapy accounts in your assigned territory

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a hands-on, individual contributor role requiring active outbound sales efforts within
Biotechnology and Cell Therapy Accounts.

Key areas of responsibilities include:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical and Cell
  Therapy Accounts in your territory
• Close orders and drive revenue and cultivate relationships your territory
• Plan, orchestrate, strategize and “own” all aspects of the assigned clients’/prospect’ business
  development initiatives and activities.
• Develop and maintain active new business and demo pipeline and forecast to meet and exceed all
  revenue targets
• Recommend traditional and/or innovative strategies to achieve client business objectives
• Develop and maintain relationship and favorable contracts with current and prospective clients,
  industry associations, complementary service providers, key decision makes and influencers across
  the life science industry
• Develop strategic approaches, proposals and presentations for use current and prospective client
  interactions.
• Lead pitch presentation in collaboration with internal technical support as needed to deliver Erbi
  Product Solution to clients
• Work with internal Apps Team/FAS to coordinate all aspects of account support
• Gather, synthesize communicate feedback from customer to Engineering and R&D Internal Teams

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Established relationships within the pharmaceutical and biotech marketplace
• Experience with Cell Therapy/Cell Culture
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ sales experience working in life science
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well
   as Salesforce and LinkedIn
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to deliver solutions in a changing environment
• Proven ability to work effectively both autonomously and collaboratively.
• Keeps abreast of industry trends and identifies new strategies to address these changes
• Willingness to travel and attend trade shows
